Creamy Chicken Handi

SPECIAL CHICKEN HANDI


INGREDIENTS:
Chicken (boneless) 1 kg
Onion 2 finely chopped
Yogurt 1 cup
Green coriander 2-3 tbsp (for garnishing)
Green chillies chopped (for garnishing)
Fresh cream 1/2 cup
Butter softened 2-3 tbsp
Oil 1/2 cup
Coriander powder 2 tbsp
Red chilli powder 1 tbsp
Black pepper powder 2 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
White cumin powder 1 tbsp
Sugar a pinch
Salt to taste
METHOD:
In a bowl put chicken and all spices(coriander powder,red chilli powder ,turmeric powder, white cumin powder, salt, yogurt) and mix well. Marinate it for atleast 1 hour.
In a pan heat oil and put chopped onion and ginger garlic paste and cook it till golden brown.
Then add marinated chicken in it and add little water(if necessary) and cook until the chicken is done,atleast for 15 minutes.
Lastly add butter over it. Add cream and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Remove from heat ,dish out and garnish with chopped coriander and green chillies. Enjoy with naans.
