Coffee Cake

  • Butter 1/2 cup softened
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Caster Sugar 2 cups
  • Eggs 4
  • All purpose Flour 2 cups
  • Baking powder 1 tsp
  • Coffee powder 2 tsp
  • Water 4 tbsp
  • Finely chopped dry fruits as required
  • For Frosting:
  • Butter 4-5 tbsp
  • Icing sugar half cup
  • Coffee 3 tbsp
  • Milk 4-5 tbsp
  • Dry fruits for garnishing( chopped)


1. Preheat oven at 180 degrees
2. In a bowl put all purpose flour ,baking powder,coffee powder. Mix well.
3. Take caster sugar in another bowl and add butter in it mix well.
4. Beat eggs and add oil in it. Put sugar mixture in it and beat it again until fluffy.
5. Put this mixture in first bowl (all purpose flour, baking powder, coffee). Mix well. The batter is ready.
6. Grease a baking pan add batter in it.
7. Bake it for 20 minutes in preheated oven at 180 degrees.
For Frosting:
Beat everything together till it becomes fluffy cool in the refrigerator. Garnish the cool cake (cool cake at room temperature), then sprinkle some dry fruits over it.
