CARROT DESSERT (HALWA)
Carrot 2 kg crushed
Butter or Ghee 2 cup
Khoya 1 cup
Sugar 2 cup
Pistachio (chopped) for garnishing
Almonds (chopped) for garnishing
Walnuts (chopped) for garnishing
Milk 1 litre
1. Heat butter/ghee in a pan and add cardamom and carrots to it.
2. Add milk to it and cook at low flame till carrots becomes tender.
3. Turn the flame high, add khoya and sugar, stir till all water dries. Now remove from heat.
4. Dish out and sprinkle pistachio, almonds and walnuts on it. Serve hot.
