Chapli Kebab

Mince 1 kg
Salt to taste
Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
Crushed red chillies 1 tsp
Cumin seeds (crushed) 1/4 tsp
Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Pomegranate seeds 1 tbsp
Coriander seeds 1/2 tsp
Onion (chopped) 3
Tomatoes (chopped) 2
Green chillies (chopped) 2
Gram flour 3 tbsp
All spice powder 1/2 tsp
Egg (beaten) 1
Raw papaya paste 2-3 tbsp
Yogurt 1/4 cup


1. In a bowl, put mince and then add yogurt, papaya, all spices (salt, red chilli powder, crushed red chillies, black pepper powder, cumin seeds, all spices powder and mix well.
2. Marinate it for 3-4 hours.
3. Now add pomegranate seeds, coriander seeds, egg, gram flour and mix well again.
4. Then add onion, tomatoes, green chillies mix again and make round kebabs.
5. Now shallow fry in oil or grill. Garnish with lettuce leaves, onion, tomatoes and green coriander.
6. Serve hot with sauce or ketchup.
