Chicken Pie

CHICKEN PIE



INGREDIENTS:

Chicken stock 1 1/2 cup
Milk 1 cup
All-purpose flour 3 tbsp
Onion 1 small (chopped)
Carrots (finely sliced) 1/2 cup
Butter 3 tbsp
Boiled chicken (shredded) 2 cup
Peas 1 cup
Parsley (chopped) 2 tbsp
Mozzarella cheese (shredded) 1 cup

METHOD:

  1. 1. In a pan, add chicken stock, whole milk, flour and mix well. 
  2. 2. In another saucepan heat butter and add onion and carrots in butter, cook over medium-high heat until softened, 2 to 3 minutes. 
  3. 3. Slowly whisk in milk mixture (prepared above). Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer, stirring often, until thickened atleast for 6 to 8 minutes.
  4. 4. Add shredded chicken, peas, mozzarella cheese and parsley and cook on low flame for 4 to 5 minutes or until cheese melts. Season with salt and black pepper. Serve delicious chicken Pie.
