Chocolate Mud Cake

CHOCOLATE MUD CAKE



INGREDIENTS:

  • Butter 250 g
  • Dark cooking chocolate 200 g
  • Cocoa powder 1/4 cup
  • Self-raising flour 2 cup
  • Caster sugar 2 cup
  • Eggs 2 (lightly beaten)
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Water (lukewarm) 1 1/2 cup

































METHOD:

1. In a saucepan add butter, cocoa, chocolate, sugar, vanilla and hot water. Mix well on low medium flame.


  • 2. When cooled add flour and eggs and mix well. At this time the mixture will be very diluted.

  • 3. Pour into a greased cake pan and bake at 150 degrees Celsius for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

  • 4. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before turning out.
  • 5. Add the cooled refrigerated icing and serve.
