Prawn Karahi (Kadahi)

PRAWN KARAHI


INGREDIENTS:

Prawn 500 g
Tomato 5-6 (chopped)
Yogurt 1/2 cup
Onion 2 (sliced)
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Red chilli powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tbsp
White cumin powder 1/2 tbsp
Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Crushed red chillies 1/4 tsp
Lemon 2 for garnishing
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Green chillies 4-5
Oil 2 tbsp

METHOD:

1. In a pan heat oil and add onion and ginger garlic paste stir till golden brown.
2. Now add prawns and saute well for 5-7 minutes.
3. Then add salt, red chilli powder, red chilli flakes, coriander powder, white cumin powder, black pepper powder mix well and cook for 15 minutes.
4. Add tomatoes and yogurt and cook until the prawns are done and gravy becomes thick.
5. Turn off the flame dish out and garnish with lemon, coriander leaves and green chillies. Serve with naan.
