Singaporean Rice

SINGAPOREAN RICE


INGREDIENTS:
  1. Boneless chicken 1/2 kg
  2. Chilli sauce 2 tbsp
  3. Salt to taste                       
  4. Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  5. Red crushed chilli 1 tsp  
  6. Ketchup 1/2 cup
  7. Mayonnaise 1/2 cup
  8. Oil 1 cup
  9. Black pepper crushed 1 tsp
  10. Ginger crushed 1 tbsp
  11. Onion cut in cubes 1 (medium)
  12. Carrots 2 
  13. Capsicum 1( cubes)
  14. Cabbage  1
  15. Peas 1/2 cup
  16. Corn flour 3 tbsp
  17. Spaghetti 350gm (boiled)
  18. Vinegar 2 tbsp
  19. Worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp
  20. Rice 1/2 kg
  21. Cumin seeds 1 tsp

METHOD:


  • Take a pan, put oil and heat it up, then add crushed ginger and saute for 2 minutes.
  • Now add chicken and fry for 1 min, then put salt, red crushed chilli, black pepper, ketchup, chilli sauce and Soya sauce and cook until chicken is done.
  • Now add onion, capsicum, carrots, tomato and cabbage along with little bit of water (if required) and let it cook for 4-5 minutes.
  • After that add corn flour (mix in 2 tbsp of water).
  • Now cook for 5 minutes, until thick. Now add boiled spaghetti, soy sauce, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce and mix well. Cook for only 2 minutes.
  • Take off the cooker and put a side.
  • Take a pan, add oil,  cumin seeds, fry a bit then add soaked rice, salt and mix them well.
  • Now add water and cook till water dries and rice completely cooked.
  • Now in a dish, put a layer of rice then add spaghetti gravy over it. Garnish with little parsley and serve.
