Spicy BBQ Chicken Biryani

  • SPICY BBQ CHICKEN BIRYANI

  • INGREDIENTS:

  • Chicken 1 kg
  • Rice 1 kg (boiled)
  • Onions 3 medium (sliced)
  • Tomatoes 4-5 (finely chopped)
  • Red chilli powder 3 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 1/2 tbsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper powder 1 tsp
  • Orange food colour 1/4 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Whole All spices 2 tbsp
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Vinegar 2 1/2 tbsp
  • Fresh coriander leaves 2 tbsp (for garnishing)
  • Mint leaves (for garnishing)
  • Green chillies 4 
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Coal 2 medium pieces
  • METHOD:
1. Firstly, marinate chicken with all spices ,yogurt and vinegar. Keep aside for atleast 2 hours
2. Take a pan and heat oil in it, add onion and ginger garlic paste and saute until golden brown.
3. Then add marinated chicken in it and cook for atleast for 5 minutes.
4. Now add tomatoes and in the chicken and cook for 10 minutes or until the chicken is done. Smoked chicken with coal for few minutes.
5. Add boiled rice, food colour and 1/4 cup water in it and mix well. Keep at low flame and cook for 5-6 minutes.
6. Dish out and garnish with fresh coriander, green chillies and mint leaves. 
7. Enjoy with salad and raita.
